Terrorism- A Threat to Humanity

Terrorism has become a big national and international problem all over the world. It is a global issue which has affected almost all the nations throughout the world directly or indirectly. Opposing terrorism has been tried by many countries however; terrorists are still getting support by someone. Terrorism is a violent act of terrifying the common public anytime in the day or night. Terrorists have many objectives such as spreading threat of violence in the society, fulfilling political purposes, etc. They make civilians of the country their primary target.
Some of the examples of terrorism are bombing of US Embassy, atom bomb attack on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, etc. The main goal of the terrorists is fulfillment of their demands by the government of a specific country. They contact online social media or newspaper, magazine, etc. to spread their voices to the public and government. Sometimes, terrorists attack is done to fulfill the religious and ideological goal.

                         THE NEW SCHOOL AUDITORIUM

Our school organized the inauguration ceremony of the new built school auditorium last week on 2^nd March. Mrs. Abha Sharma, Director, Imperial College of Education was the chief guest of the occasion. The auditorium is very spacious and well-ventilated. It is designed to accommodate four thousand people at a time. It is a beautiful hexagonal structure with a main hall, ante-chambers, projection rooms, elevated stage with green rooms on either side. Special care has been taken to build the stage of the auditorium. The lighting system, which includes dramatic lights, spot lights, etc., and the digital sound system have been installed by a leading brand. 

                  WORKSHOP ON PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT

Four students from our school were selected to attend a one-day personality development workshop organized by International Institute of Personality Development & Image management. The workshop was held on 25^th February, 2014 at 9.00 a.m. in the Conference hall of the institution. Mr. Surya Sinha, famous personality development guru, honoured the occasion with his graceful presence. He delivered the inaugural speech also. Many eminent personality development 'gurus' delivered their lectures on the ways and the necessity to develop personality. All the students took very keen interest and they were stuck to learn the ways to enhance their personality through the golden rules enumerated in the workshop. The workshop was also graced by eminent personalities like Yukta Mukhey and Anupam Kher, who enlightened the students about the importance of interpersonal skills. The workshop proved to be very beneficial for the students.
